I love being a developer and I’m incredibly thankful that I had the opportunity to make a passion my job.
My name is Dominique St-Amand. My passion for the IT world started at a young age. At the age of 8 I was already playing around with Windows 3.1. At the age of 16, I was coding in VB and developed a full solution for a client. I studied the game before becoming a player. Reading technical books was what I enjoyed doing.
I was fortunate enough to have a mother who supported and encouraged me to pursue a degree in Computer Science.
Coding is, for me, what a pen is to an writer. It is my way to be creative and be an artist; being able to apply my creativity on various project sizes and environments is a blessing.
I am currently a .NET Software Developer for an IT company.
